The day ends as one motion.

Wind Down, Night Mode, and the Morning Ritual are now a single continuous transition. When the closing ritual completes, the app does not slide back to the Timer. It dissolves. The background fades to black. One breathing particle holds its place at the center of the screen, and the app becomes a presence instead of an interface.

The particle responds. Hover it and a warm, sustained drone plays — the same gravity resonance the Vision view uses when a particle enters an orb. Move the cursor near it and it drifts gently toward you, magnetically, with the restraint of a drop of water. Click it — or press Esc, Space, or Enter — and the sunrise begins. The black veil fades back to your atmosphere. The Morning Ritual is already there, waiting underneath, so the particle you just clicked becomes the same particle that rises through tomorrow's ceremony. No Timer in between. One continuous breath.

The closing sounds have been rewritten. All eight presets share the DNA of the Morning Signature — same key, same sine-only palette, same detuned warmth — only reversed. Where morning rises, shutdown settles. The sound now fires at the exact moment the particle arrives at its sleeping place. You hear it and you know: the day is actually over.

#What changed

  • Closing Statement — a random quiet sentence from a curated library of twenty ends each Wind Down
  • Night Mode — black field, held particle, zero chrome after the ritual closes (toggle in settings, default on)
  • Magnetic particle — hover and it swells, drifts toward the cursor, breathes at its own pace
  • Touch parity — the particle responds to finger pressure on mobile exactly as it does to the cursor on desktop
  • Seamless sunrise — click or press Esc/Space/Enter to wake; the Morning Ritual mounts underneath while the veil is still opaque, so the Timer is never visible in between
  • Shutdown sounds reshaped — eight presets, all sonic mirrors of the Morning Signature, tuned softer and warmer
  • G Z opens Wind Down directly from anywhere in the app

Close one day the way you open the next — with the same quiet, the same particle, the same hand on the room.
