The Coach becomes an Observer.

The Coach you met as a chatbot is now something quieter. Press C and CoachView opens on Today — one homogeneous column: today's Observation at the top, this week's Particle of the Week, the current Insight, and the week's numbers as a grounding footer. Three sections, one visual vocabulary — tiny label, italic body, breathing space.

The Observation is new. Once a day, the Coach notices something about your week in the past tense — never a prescription. Not "you should work mornings" — just "your best work this week happened between 9 and 11." If the pattern has shown up before, you see (Again — 3×) beside the label. Memory made visible.

When you want a real conversation, press 2 or click Ask. The chat tab is pure dialogue — input, bubbles, nothing else. Short messages get short replies. It stopped asking "Two tests. What does that mean?" at every turn. Ask a direct question, get a direct answer.

The Timer stays a sanctuary — no Coach pixel lives there. When a fresh Observation arrives, the Coach sparkle in the corner glows briefly. That's the whole signal. You choose when to look.

#What changed

  • Today tab — Observation + Particle of the Week + Insight in one quiet column
  • Ask tab — chat, streaming, task cards, nothing else
  • Press 1 / 2 to switch; C always opens on Today
  • "Tell me more" is gone — if there's a deeper note, it just shows
  • Aurora signal on the Coach sparkle when a new Observation is waiting
  • Voice rules tightened — no more compulsive mirroring, no counting, no reflexive questions
  • Faster chat — your message appears the instant you press Enter; typing dots while the Coach thinks

Observation is the default now. Conversation is always one keystroke away.
